Feed Water Heaters: Two styles are available custom made to fit your car. 1913 - 1914 Stanleys: Just like the original it features a built-in muffler and 14 feet of 3/4" I.D. feedwater pipe exposed to the exhaust steam. The water pipe consists of 4 lengths of interconnected copper pipe that may be replaced if damaged by freezing. This mounts inside the exhaust flue. Your flue must have at least 3-1/4" distance below the brake cross-shaft to use this style.
Feedwater Heater Notes: 1. I must know the distance between the front edge of your flue to the center of the
exhaust inlet to custom fit the heater to your car. This applies to both styles. 2. There is a $20.00 crating charge for feedwater heaters if they have to be shipped. This fee is refundable if you return the crate in good useable condition. However many times I can arrange uncrated personal delivery. Contact me to see if this is possible. |
